Who is the Awarding body?
Focus Awards is the awarding body for our qualifications. They are nationally recognised by CIMSPA and OFQUAL compliant.
Can I use my qualification abroad?
Qualifications are transferable to use overseas. We recommend that you check out the entry requirements for your chosen destination first before committing to your course.
Can I have a payment plan for my course?
Yes, paying for your course upfront will save you money however, we understand each personal situation is different and can provide you with a more manageable 12-month payment plan. You will pay at least 20% more for the total of your course, this is to cover additional admin and management fees.
How do you guarantee certification?
We work closely with the awarding body to ensure our robust standards meet the requirements for direct claim status. This means that provided you complete your course within time, max 12-months from enrolment, and your assessments meet the required minimum standard to pass, we can guarantee you receive a certificate.
What happens at the end of my trial period?
The trial period will end promptly after 7 days and you will need to have made payment for your course before then to continue with your studies. If a payment is not made, we will remove you from the course immediately and any work or assessments completed within that time will be lost.
Already have a level 2 gym Qualification?
If you already hold a level 2 gym qualification you will need to validate it with CIMSPA. Submit the successful verification confirmation to us and we can apply approved prior learning to your practitioner diploma so that you don't have to repeat any relevant units. Alternatively, you can jump onto the Level 3 Certificate in Planning and Delivering Personal Training instead.
Can I upgrade my course?
Yes, if you feel that you would like more support then you can upgrade your course provision at any time by making a payment for the difference in amount.
How do I find a PT Mentor?
Our PT Mentors are not employees of BOFFIT, they operate on a self-employed basis as one of our partner academies. If you have not been referred by an Academy partner or PT Mentor and you would like us to find you one please contact us and tell us your location and we will do our best to find you the most local one to you.
