Boffit PT Academy PT Mentor Job Description
The Boffit PT Academy PT Mentor is an active Personal Trainer with an active client base; most likely they are self-employed and operate from a facility with a wider membership base.
The role of the PT mentor is to promote and sell the Become a Personal Trainer (B-PT) package; a typical B-PT prospect would be an existing client, member at club or an active social media follower.
The PT Mentor would also be responsible for delivering up to 12-14 practical hours to each B-PT learner in line with the awarding body qualification for level 2 and 3. Along with Assessments for Level 2 and 3 as follows:

Level 2: Safe Gym Instruction (approx. 2-4 hours)

Level 3: Training Systems (approx. 6-8 hours)
Hours will be delivered as 121 or group sessions in line with the tutor / assessor service level agreement.
All PT Mentors will need to hold or be willing to work towards achieving the Level 3 Education and Training (EAT) Qualification.
Boffit PT Academy will enrol all PT Mentors who require EAT after their first B-PT sale at cost price of £200 to be deducted from pending commissions.
The Boffit PT Academy commission structure would be paid at 50% at point of learner enrolment and 50% at learner certification of the Level 3 PT Diploma on receipt of relevant evidence of learner completion for the practical elements noted above.
Boffit Limited would be responsible for the all other aspects of the learner qualification, namely:

Learner Enrolment and Registration process with the Awarding Body

Enrolment to the online learner platform and support

Online support for the Learner Achievement Portfolios (LAP) x 3 (Levels 2, 3 & 4)

Exams for all levels

Certification with the Awarding Body
On provision of a relevant Tutor / Assessor certificate, the PT Mentor would be eligible to assist and deliver workshop and assessment days, when available.
